HAZEL TAM
Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Originally from Hong Kong, Hazel completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2019. Since then, she has gained broad experience across public and private settings, including acute and extended care, paediatrics, neurology, musculoskeletal, and sports rehabilitation.
Hazel has a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries. She was the team physiotherapist for the Hong Kong Netball Team at the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2023, where she refined her expertise in acute injury management and injury prevention strategies.
Her treatment philosophy combines hands-on techniques with targeted exercise programs to promote long-term recovery and independence. Hazel’s approach is evidence-informed and well-rounded, incorporating dry needling, cupping, taping, joint mobilisation and manipulation, and strength and conditioning principles tailored to each patient.
As Richmond Rehab’s newest team member, Hazel brings over six years of experience and is currently undertaking Clinical Pilates training through DMA. She is passionate about collaborative physiotherapy care, working closely with patients and colleagues to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
