Why Do We Have A Cancellation Policy?

As a healthcare clinic, we don’t like charging cancellation fees… it’s not our business.

Richmond Rehab prides itself on effective care that is carefully considered for each patient. Our clinical team meet on a daily basis to discuss clinical cases and prepare for the days list. Striving to work around your life demands, we’re always looking to create availabilities at times that suit you.

Providing insufficient notice or failure to attend an appointment not only unnecessarily uses our clinicians preparation time, but also takes away the opportunity for other patients to come at that time.

What Is Our Cancellation Policy?

• Less than 24hrs notice but we can reschedule (We’ll wave the fee)

• Less than 24hrs notice and we’re unable to reschedule you ($50 fee)

• Less than 2hrs notice but we can reschedule ($50 fee)

• Less than 2hrs notice but we can’t reschedule you or fill the appointment (Scheduled appointment fee)

• Failure to attend an appointment without notice (Scheduled appointment fee)

What Do We Do With Our Cancellation Fees?

We see our cancellation policy as a deterrent to behaviours that impact the smooth running of the clinic.

That’s why we donate 100% of our cancellation fees to a worthy local charity or sports club.
